300 DPI vs 600 DPI Scans

DPI stands for Dots (of ink or now pixels) Per Inch. To put it simply, the more dots per inch, the sharper the image. 300 DPI scans are perfect for simple archiving and printing. 600 DPI scans will allow you to make enlarged prints while retaining more detail.

Please Note: Our high-resoultion scanning process captures every detail of your original photos with extreme clarity. as a result, existing imperfections-such as tiny scratches, dust, or photo texture-may appear more visible on bright digital screens than they do on the physical print.

If you notice distacting marks on your new digital files, we offer Digital Restoration Services to clean them up and may even leave them better than the original.
